Every week, I really look forward to Kathie Lee and Hoda Kotb's ambush makeovers on TODAY. Each week, they pick unsuspecting women from the audience and surprise them with life-changing makeovers. This week, Ambra Wilson, a mother of three, was plucked from the crowd to get the royal treatment. Her miraculous makeover brought her to tears and left her mother speechless.
On the show, the busy mom admits her daily beauty routine consists of a little moisturizer and Chapstick, and she hasn't colored her hair in over four years.
Before she even went in to to get her glam new look, her own mother was in tears, gushing that her daughter "deserves it." The 33-year-old mom has three kids: two-year-old twins and a four-year-old son.
When they finally revealed her fabulous new look, she was barely recognizable! Her mom's jaw hit the floor. Then, when Wilson finally got to see herself in the mirror, she could barely contain her excitement. It's truly an awesome transformation that you have to see to believe!
