A friend of mine recently told me she was feeling stressed about her upcoming walk down the aisle.
However, it wasn't because of the usual bridal woes…the planning, the overwhelming expenses, the crazy bridesmaids. She was worried about the actual walk down the aisle with her father, while her stepfather, who has been in her life since she was a baby, will be watching from the front row. My response? As far as wedding problems go, that's a pretty good one to have.
As you can see in this heartbreaking father-daughter dance story, not every girl is so lucky. Nevertheless, it can still be uncomfortable for someone to make this decision, because even though the day is all about the bride, it's usually their fathers who get the most emotional — and you want to be careful not to hurt anyone's feelings. That's why the following of one bride and her two fathers has touched so many hearts and gone viral overnight.
Right before he was about to walk his daughter Brittany down the aisle to marry the love of her life, Todd Bachman snuck away during the wedding march and told the wedding photographer to prepare for a special moment. No one, especially the bride and her stepdad, Todd Cendrosky, could have anticipated what this loving father did next.

When Brittany Bachman married her longtime boyfriend Jeremy Peck in Ohio on September 26, 2015, she never expected the events of her big day to go viral.

Just as he began walking his daughter down the aisle, Todd Blackburn decided to show the man who helped raise her, Brittany's stepfather Todd Cendrosky that he is equally important.

Brittany and the guests froze in confusion when Bachman left his daughter alone on the aisle — only to leave them all in tears moments later.

“NOT A DRY EYE at the ceremony … including me!” Wedding photographer Delia D Blackburn wrote on Facebook.

Before the big day, Todd Cendrosky was nervous about wearing a special tuxedo only to sit in the background. He told USA Today that the act of love by Bachman was the most important thing to happen in his life.

Photographer Delia D Blackburn, whose touching photos of the special moment have since gone viral, wrote on Facebook "Families are what we make them … make it about your kids and not your ego."

“Congratulations Todd Bachman on showing your kids what true love really is … love for your children.” Blackburn continued.
