When You See What He’s Doing With Nothing But Toothpaste, You’ll Be Shocked.

Florida-based artist Christiam Ramos came up with a very unconventional, but possibly genius, way to paint a different kind of masterpiece. Instead of using paint to create his celebrity portraits, he discovered that layers of toothpaste painted on a canvas with brushes makes a very unique and lovely design. "It is very difficult to make these as the toothpaste becomes very sticky and dries quickly. The smell can also be quite overwhelming, which was challenging during the long days of up to 10 hours painting”, Ramos said of his art.

The artist, who has created works of art of celebrities like Sir Elton John, Lady Gaga and Miley Cyrus, most recently took out his tubes to remember the man who devoted his life to making people laugh, Robin Williams. Ramos said it took close to 200 hours and 20 tubes to complete the masterpiece of the late comedian. Something tells me that Williams, who was anything but ordinary, wouldn't have wanted it any other way!

Watch the masterpiece unfold in the video below and then check out some of Ramos' other portraits.
