When it comes to bears, humans are taught to avoid them at all costs. Although bear attacks aren't a common occurrence, experts stress several ways to prevent any type of confrontation with one of these wild animals, as well as ways to keep safe if one happens to cross your path.
For Turkish explorer and photographer Cemal Gülas, however, those rules don't seem to apply. Much like the director of the Orphaned Wildlife Center in Otisville, NY, who has an unbelievable relationship with a big brown bear, Gülas was caught on camera sharing an unforgettable moment with one of these big furry animals.
In the clip below, we see a big bear approach Gülas as he stands near a waterfall. At first it's unclear what the outcome will be, but moments later, we witness the two engage in a water fight and then jump on each other for a big hug. (Yes, you read that correctly!) Gülas is even seen giving the bear a kiss on the cheek. The interaction in the video is almost too hard to believe!
