I’ve always heard that twins share just about everything, and that they have a unique bond much closer than ordinary siblings.
But I always assumed that all the stories abut twin telepathy and twins who are never separated were exaggerations of the truth. After all, even these twins who died on the same day led very different lives.
For a few sets of twins, however, the stereotype holds true; for them, it really is hard to tell where one twin begins and the other ends. That’s exactly how it is for identical twin sisters Becky and Amy Glass, who once told the Inside Edition, “…We’re actually one person in two bodies.”
In fact, much like eerily identical twins Paula and Bridgette Powers, Becky and Amy can’t imagine living life apart. The 47-year-olds live together, work together, and even share a Facebook account, and they’ve been in sync like this for as long as they can remember.

The twins were adopted at just two months old and grew up in New Jersey. Their adoptive mom sensed their incredible bond straight away, struggling to keep the twins from climbing into one another’s cribs at night.

They were close as can be all throughout childhood, their mother even dressing them in matching outfits. They stopped briefly in high school after classmates teased them, but started back up again in college.
According to Amy, "We felt completely off being in different outfits – I felt like more of myself when I matched my sister, it was natural."

In fact, the sisters are so obsessed with looking identical that they have even developed an interesting strategy for dieting. They never want one sister to be heavier than the other, so they make sure that they always eat exactly the same thing and in identical quantities, and carefully measure all of their portions.

Even now, as the sisters approach fifty, they are still obsessed with their identical looks. They're often matching, or wearing the same outfit in two different colors. They also share a bedroom and a Facebook page, and work together at the successful marketing business that they started after graduating from Rutgers. At one point, they even shared a boyfriend!
But when asked about their current love lives, the twins had an interesting response. Check out the video below to learn more about the Glass twins, their shared life, and their plan for the future.
