I LOVE ice cream. I love ice cream. It's a cold treat but I eat it all year long. The smooth, cold rich flavor is unmatchable.
Did you know you can even make bread with ice cream? Ice cream is almost as magical as this gravity defying cake!
I could eat ice cream everyday, the only trouble is … sometimes I'm craving ice cream flavors that don't exist yet. I want chocolate ice cream with Nutella, Reese's Peanut Butter Cups and Rold Gold Honey Twist Pretzels. Now, where on earth am I going to find that flavor?!
The solution is to make ice cream yourself, but doesn't that sound tedious? First, you need an ice cream maker which costs more than I will ever want to pay, then you need all of the ingredients, and then you need all the time in the world.
That's why I was so excited when I found this homemade ice cream recipe with only two ingredients and — get this — no ice cream maker is required.
That's right: no ice cream maker necessary!
What You'll Need:
- Heavy Cream, Chilled
- Condensed Milk, Chilled
- A Hand Mixer or Electronic Mixer
That’s all! Two ingredients then you have your base and can add whatever flavoring you like. Maybe you’re not a Reese’s person but love a good Charleston Chew or Junior Mints! The world is your ice cream oyster (please don’t make oyster ice cream, though) with this simple recipe!
