Mechanic Builds Fully Functioning ‘Upside-Down’ Pickup Truck

An Illinois mechanic was inspired by the most unusual sight: a pickup truck rolled over onto its hood in the snow, with all four wheels in the air. When he was called to rescue a Ford Ranger overturned in the snow, he set out to recreate what he saw.

So when you see his final product, you won't believe your eyes. And no, your screen isn't playing tricks on you!

Rick Sullivan spent six months and $6,000 on making his masterpiece that looks like a flipped-over truck. The road-legal vehicle isn't just one car, but two. It's actually a 1991 Ford Ranger pickup truck with the body of 1995 F-150 placed on top.

It's even complete with "FLIPOVR" for its license plate. But it's most eye-catching feature is probably the spinning wheels on top!

The car grabs a lot of attention on the streets, and Rick says that up to a thousand pictures of it are taken every day. Because of its uniqueness and the fact that he built it himself, he says that he will never sell the car. And his nephews love riding around in it, and we can't imagine a person who wouldn't!

If you would love to ride around in Rick's creation, too, please SHARE!
