He Sees Color For The First Time Ever, When He Does THIS, Millions Of People Cry

Can you imagine a green bouquet of roses, or a gray sunset? For 300 million people with colorblindness, that is their daily reality. They can't differentiate between green and red, and many colors appear muted or even gray. But for some people, that all changed when EnChroma created a revolutionary set of glasses that enable their wearer to truly see all the amazing colors that most people take for granted. They partnered with paint company Valspar to create a short documentary about how colorblind people reacted when they saw the world in color for the first time. By the end of it, I had tears spilling over my cheeks.

This wouldn't be the first time that incredible advancements have been made in the field of sight; this man was able to see his wife for the first time in ten years thanks to an innovative bionic eye. But the awesome thing about these glasses is how easy they are to use. Since colorblindness usually happens in the eye rather than the brain, the glasses alter the way that light passes through the lens into the eye itself. Many people might think that being able to see red, pink, and orange might not be as incredible as being blind and actually seeing your newborn for the first time, but when you see how a dad reacts to finally being able to truly appreciate his son's artwork, you'll change your mind.

I managed to hold back tears throughout most of the video, but when I saw these people really appreciating a sunset for the first time, I lost it. Being able to see life in true color is something most of us take for granted, and for these people, it's changed their entire lives. What an incredible invention! Hopefully it will help many people experience the world in a whole new way.
