It’s hard to think that we Americans do strange things. But when you think about it, some of our behaviors can be perceived as pretty wacky.
Take our large and eclectic assortment of roadside attractions (I mean, a giant rubber band ball? C’mon, ‘Merica!). We eat cheese from a can, our bottled water costs more than soda, we refuse to embrace the metric system even though the rest of the world has, and one U.S. city consists of nothing but a single, 14-story building.
But, alas, we’re not alone in our oddball ways. Plenty of other countries do things that are peculiar as well.
For instance, just look at the continent of Asia and its national variety of outlandish vending machines. Singapore has one that dispenses mashed potatoes. Japan has canned bread (??!??). But China’s got one that is SO fishy you have to see it to believe it.
Watch the video below to see what the Chinese can get out of one of their vending machines in just a pinch.
Make sure to SHARE this video with everyone you know, because, seriously, we don’t need this to spread to America. With a vending machines in Texas that offers pecan pie and a Beverly Hills chain of cupcake ATMs, we’re weird enough!
