He Has SIX Fingers On One Hand. When I Saw Why, My Jaw Hit The Ground!

This newest art piece by Golan Levin, Chris Sugrue, and Kyle McDonald is a real-time, interactive computer software system that was designed to transform people's hands into strange new oddities.

Known simply as the Augmented Hand Series, this bizarre video highlights what an artistic imagination married to computer programing can really do. Hooking up a live-stream HD camera these programing masters asked people to dance their hands in front of it and wait.

While you'll have to take a few classes before you can program amazing images like this, it shouldn't take that long before you start making your own unique art projects. Even if you're not interested in getting a certificate in software programming like JavaScript or web development and design, you can still do some crazy things on Adobe Photoshop, too! Seriously, though, who thought up the "Fractal Hands" at 1:33? Six hands on one arm!

Using a few pre-programmed settings, these artists created some pretty crazy-looking hands. Plus an extra knuckle, minus a knuckle, one extra finger, one extra thumb, but our favorite hand was the Star Trek "Vulcan Salute" at the 3:32 mark! I even teared up for a second in honor of the late Leonard Nimoy's Spock from Star Trek.

Take a look at this intense video if you're interested in expanding your own horizons and knowledge!
