Matt DeSanto might be one of the best Wheel Of Fortune contestants of all time. He took host Pat Sajak by surprise during the first round correctly guessing the 13-letter puzzle during his first try!
During the episode, the Wheel of Fortune category was "character." Vanna White flipped an "E" during the show, and DeSanto correctly guessed "The Lone Ranger "
"I don't want to cause trouble at home, but I think there's a connection with you and Vanna," quipped Sajak.
It only got better from there. He brought home a huge grand total and a "Wheel of Fortune" record, winning more than $91,000 after nailing all of the puzzles. He had much more success than say, this guy, who left the show's host scratching his head by the contestant’s bizarre response. Sajak actually walked off set because he couldn't believe what happened!
