For the majority of his life, Zach — a thirty-something man from Florida — consumed anything and everything he wanted. On a daily basis, he smoked three packets of cigarettes, drank two liters of soda and binged on fast food. Zach was addicted to fatty, sugary foods the same way a drug addict would be addicted to cocaine or heroin.
By the time his son was born in 2008, Zach had doubled his weight. At over 450 pounds, he could barely play with Zach Jr., let alone breathe, sleep or walk properly. His wife, Amber, revealed she worried she would wake up one morning and find him dead in the bed beside her.
One day, Zach had had enough. Driven by the desire to live long enough to watch his son grow up, Zach cut out the soda, the snacks, and the cigarettes. Well on his way to an amazing change, Zach also decided to undergo gastric bypass surgery, after which he dedicated himself to a healthy lifestyle. He did it all with an extraordinary amount of determination and the love and support of his wife.
In just 18 months, Zach shed a whopping 300 pounds — but it left him with 30 pounds of excess skin. In the video below, you'll see Zach's mind-blowing transformation when he takes the stage at "The Doctors." And just wait until you see the surprises in store for this determined husband and father…

When Zach became a dad in 2008, he hit 450 pounds. Breathing, sleeping and moving were near impossible.

One day, Zach woke up and realized he may not live to watch his son, Zach. Jr, grow up. Even his wife, Amber, feared she would find him dead.
Zach then made a life-changing decision. He stopped drinking soda, eating sugary and fatty foods, and he even stopped smoking.

Wait until you see Zach today. I won't give it away, but I will say that the folks behind "The Doctors" set up a series of awesome surprises for Zach, one of which was a brand new wedding ring.
Zach had gotten so big that he could no longer wear one, so he had to tattoo a wedding ring design on his finger. Now, thanks to "The Doctors," he can proudly wear an actual ring for the first time in decades.
