200 Monkeys Were Rescued From A Garbage Dump And Given A Safe New Home

With constant building and housing developments going up, animals are losing more and more of their habitats. Even worse, because of how close humans are to their natural habitats, some animals are even losing their lives.

In Bangkok, Thailand, 200 monkeys were just rescued by diligent conversationalists and volunteers. The monkeys have been losing their homes rapidly over time as housing developments continued to crop up. These monkeys were found in a garbage dump in deplorable conditions.

Many locals did not respect that the monkeys were there first and did not attempt to help the confused animals. Instead, some humans took advantage of the situation and abused the poor things. Thankfully, they've been moved to a safe, temporary home. Thanks to David Omuro and his team, the monkeys were transported to a facility that replicates their natural home to make sure they are all safe and healthy.

Soon, these wonderful little creatures will swing from trees and eat fruits in a new forest. Hopefully, all 200 monkeys will be as happy as these two rescued monkeys who were given a new home!
