Cooper the Shih tzu knows a trick that not many other dogs know – or may be able to replicate!
It's more than just sitting, or staying, or fetching a stick. Cooper knows how to stick out his tongue on command!
When Cooper's owner noticed that his tongue would sometimes just hang out of his mouth without him noticing, she decided to turn it into a trick! Using a clicker and treats, she would reward him whenever he stuck it out, and over time, he learned how to do it on command! I've never taught any of my animals using a clicker, but more and more I see people doing it. Have you ever tried it?
