If you've ever taken family holiday photos, you may know how difficult it is to get everyone looking merry and bright.
For dog owner Jasmine, who runs the site Snowdog Guru, getting her husky, Anuko, to look excited for Christmas is a difficult task. He never quite appears like he's in the holiday spirit.
The dog mom posted a series of photos on Instagram of her husky wearing a festive holiday scarf and a pair of cute reindeer antlers. Since, due to his fur markings, Anuko has a perpetually unimpressed face, the photos turned out quite funny.
"I think his grumpy look makes people who love Christmas laugh and people who despise Christmas relate," Jasmine told LittleThings.
In each photo, it looks like Anuko is saying, "I'm over it!" And while he may look like a grinch on the outside, he's actually a loving companion to Jasmine.
"I got Anuko because I was very depressed and suicidal years ago," she explained to LittleThings. "You could say he saved my life or, at the very least, changed it for the better."
People from all over the world can't get enough of his disapproving look while his mom snapped photos. Thousands of people liked and commented on the photos, saying just how hilarious they are.

To get into the holiday spirit, Jasmine wanted to dress up her husky, Anuko, whom she got during a time where she was incredibly depressed.
"You could say he saved my life or, at the very least, changed it for the better," she told LittleThings.
She posted a series of photos on Anuko's Instagram page of him wearing a festive scarf and reindeer antlers.
Right away, people got a kick out of how grumpy he looked in all of the photos.
"I didn’t realize they’d get such a big reaction," she told LittleThings.
While Anuko isn't a mean dog, his thin eyes, facial features, and the coloring of his fur make him look disapproving.
In turn, that creates some wildly funny Christmas photos.
Anuko's grumpy Christmas photos have received thousands of likes and comments by people getting a kick out of the "annoyance" on his face.
"I think his grumpy look makes people who love Christmas laugh and people who despise Christmas relate," Jasmine told LittleThings. "So, it was an opportunity for the photos to be loved by everybody. And that’s what makes it so special."
Many commenters said their expression looks the same way when they have to spend hours wrapping holiday presents and creating Christmas cookies. It's definitely not easy to prep for the holidays!
No matter where Anuko was, his facial expression didn't change. He always looked like he just stuck his foot into a pile of steaming doggy doo doo, even if he was in reality, very happy indeed!
Anuko is actually a really relaxed and happy dog despite what his face looks like.
"He’s a docile and relaxed dog and loves everybody and everyone," his mom told LittleThings. "His over-friendly behavior has got him into trouble sometimes, for example: trying to play with dogs who don’t want to play, so they snap at him to try and get him to go away."
His face just always makes it appear as though he is completely done with his mom Jasmine dressing him up and taking photos, but that isn't actually what's going on with Anuko.
She's even put him in an adorable flower costume when it was springtime.
Anuko's expression is just as unique as his name. "Anuko's name is, as far as I know, made up by me," Jasmine explained. "His mom is called Anuska, and he was a mommy’s boy — so I coined with the name Anuska to make it sound more masculine, and came up with Anuko."
Even while celebrating his birthday, Anuko looks like he'd rather be doing anything else!
Jasmine knows that while he may look grumpy, he is so happy to be her dog. "Anuko chose me — it was a choice between him and his brother," Jasmine told LittleThings. "When I put him down to pick up his brother, Anuko waddled over to my bag and coat and was pulling them across the room. I think he was trying to say, 'How dare you put me down!'"
