Growing up, my family had a basset hound for many years, and I can tell you first hand that these dogs really do live up to their reputation.
All of our neighbors probably thought we were torturing the poor hound from the way he would howl, seemingly for no reason but to drive my father crazy. The adorable pup in the following video may not sound much better than my dog, but at least he is trying to be creative.
Peetu the solemn basset hound has taken singing the blues to a whole new level. His piano-playing owner set up a camera to show the world exactly what Peetu gets into while she is out.
In this hilarious video, Peetu puts his paws on the piano keys and starts to sing his little heart out. We'll never know if Peetu is really a heartbroken hound or if he just gets super emotional when he plays his music.
Either way, let's hope he keeps at it! Hysterical!
