All the animals that we share this earth with are beautiful in their own way. Even the creepy crawlies are wonderful if you look at them in the right light and with the right attitude.
When you look into an animal's eyes, you really can see that they feel things, too. That's right, even lizards have been known to show some sort of connection with humans.
Animal eyes see the world differently than we do. For example, cats are able to see much more at night in the dark because they are nocturnal creatures, so their eyes are built differently and look different than ours.
These 11 beautiful sets of animal eyes are really something to behold. From cats to dogs and more, it's really incredible to see such beauty up close.
Have you ever noticed how beautiful animals' eyes are? I could simply get lost in them for hours.

1. Alligators

Alligators have vertical pupils like a cat's so that they can close them to a tiny slit in the sunshine, or open them up to a full circle in low lights.
2. Huskies

Siberian huskies have a gene that causes them to lose pigmentation in the iris, but not in their coat. This makes it more common for them to have striking blue eyes.
3. Coyotes

The chestnut in this coyote's eyes is very rich and beautiful.
4. Geckos

Leopard geckos have beautiful striations on their eyes. However, if they develop an eye issue, they will not eat because they detect their food based on movement. If you keep one as a pet, be sure to stay alert for eye problems!
5. Octopuses

This octopus' eye is otherworldly. It really does seem like this belongs to a creature from another planet.
6. Horses

Of course, we can't discount the big, beautiful, and empathetic horse eyes. This fabulous beast has a lovely chestnut shade.
7. Rabbits

I didn't even know rabbits could have blue eyes, did you? It's like looking into a dusty sky.
8. Owls

Owls have great night vision, but they can also see really well in bright light because their pupils dilate with a huge range. Some species can even see better than humans can in the daylight.
9. Giraffes

Would you take a look at the lashes on this giraffe? Gorgeous.
10. Goats

Did you know that a goat's eyes are rectangular to help them spot predators more quickly? Not only do they look very cool, they're also functional!
11. Cats

While not your typical set of cat eyes, the heterochromia on this feline is striking. Heterochromia, by the way, is when an animal or a person has differently colored eyes. The vertical slits in a cat's eyes have been linked to low-to-the-ground predators, but this sweetie pie doesn't have the face of a predator at all!
