When “Bad Men” Stole His Dog, This 4-Year-Old Wrote An Angry Letter. What It Said? YIKES!

Have you ever had a pet die?

If so, you know how utterly traumatizing it can be. It's like a part of your family, or even an extension of yourself, has been ripped away. It can be a small comfort if you know that they've possibly been relieved from misery or physical discomfort, and if you believe in it, it's nice knowing that they've crossed the "rainbow bridge."

However, when your pet is lost, or worse, stolen from you, it's even more terrible. You don't get that closure of knowing where they are. It's not only sad, it's worrisome and confusing. You have the hope that maybe your pet will return, but you also have fear for the worst.

Ethan Ferrie is a four-year-old British boy who was devastated when his adorable dog, Fern, was snatched from him. His family has been frantically searching for Fern for over two years now.

They refuse to give up hope!

They've launched an online campaign with social media using the hashtag #FindFern to bring awareness to the missing dog.

And now that Ethan is learning to write, he was finally able to express his feelings through a heartbreaking letter to the "bad men" who stole his dog, which you can read below.

Please SHARE in hopes that someone will #FindFern soon!

Ever since Fern went missing in April 2013, not a day has gone by that Ethan didn't ask where Fern was. They believe someone stole the dog after black spaniels reached a spike in popularity in 2013 (after Kate Middleton and Prince William adopted one).

The family has canvassed the city and has launched massive online campaigns to bring awareness to their missing animal.

Ethan even carries coasters with Fern's face to hand out to strangers. Though Fern isn't physically with him, she's in his heart.

He's still so upset that, when he learned to write, his first letter was to the "bad men" who stole his dog.

He even included a drawing of the beloved dog.

“To the bad men who took Fern. Can Fern come home now please. I miss her.

-Ethan”

Let's hope someone can #FindFern soon!
