Callie Mae was an ordinary, fluffy white marshmallow cat until one day, she suffered a horrible accident and ended up having to have all four of her legs amputated.
But despite the obstacles she's faced in life, this beautiful cat from Mobile, AL not only survived, but continues to thrive, and can even move around on her own!
She may be a special needs cat, but Callie Mae lives her nine lives to the fullest, the Associated Press reports.
Other special needs animals like Mercury the bipedal cat and Duncan Lou Who the two-legged Boxer prove that life need not be any less fulfilling just because you have a disability.

Callie was chased up a tree by some dogs and electrocuted, according to her caretakers, causing irreparable damage to her legs.
After being nursed back to health, Callie's caretakers were delighted to find that she could still crawl and play!
Callie doesn't have claws, so she does need help with her basic needs like scratching. Luckily, her caretakers are happy to lend a hand.
The vets in Mobile were inundated with requests to adopt Callie, though they made sure to be choosy, as she has special needs.
Callie even managed to catch a mouse once! You go girl.
