Being the big sibling comes with a ton of responsibility. You have to set a great example for the little one in so many ways. You have to teach them how to be kind, how to be safe, how to be smart, and how to steal a cookie before dinner every now and again. It's a lot of hard work, but the payoff of watching the little sibling grow older and wiser is so worth it.
There is also, however, a ton of power that comes with being bigger. If your younger brother is being a pain in the behind while you're trying to read your favorite book or simply relax… sometimes it's hard to resist using your size and strength to deal with the situation. You could just pick up your little sibling and move them to another room if they've reached the final straw. That is a great perk!
When this little kitten named Squirt gets a little too excited for play time with her older canine sibling, Daisy, the pup has just about reached the breaking point. Daisy would never think to do anything to harm the little one, but, for goodness sake, just wants to catch a moment of peace!
After enduring too many kitten-clawed swats to the face and nibbles to her ears, this pup puts her paw down. I've never seen a dog do this before… but it definitely works!
