Road trips are epic, American adventures. We stuff our faces with junk food, sing and blast our favorites tunes, and occasionally stumble upon the world’s largest tea pot, rubber band ball, and garden gnome.
But kooky roadside attractions aren’t the only fleeting images that snag our attention as we zoom from point A to B in our cars. The United States is brimming with beautiful scenery so spectacular that it can be wholly enjoyed all when we’re completely alone. But it’s even more special when you have someone to share these moments with—like your best friend.
Photographer, John Stortz decided to do just that when he packed up his camera and brought along his pooch, Wolf, on a road trip through our great states. The result? Spectacular photos that not only illustrate our country’s beautiful for spacious skies and amber waves of grain, but the bond between man and dog that’s almost as remarkable as stumbling upon a water fall. Or a giant can of mushroom soup. Either or.
Check out some of Stortz’s stunning photos below and let us know where you wish he’d go next in the comments. If you think these photos are as glorious as we do, please make sure to SHARE!
