Dogs can be a little territorial when it comes to their toys.
Some dogs like to hoard their toys and keep unwanted folks from taking them, while other dogs will growl if anyone touches their favorite toy.
My dog does both. He'll hide all his toys under the bed, but if I touch it without asking first or another dog tries to play with it, he freaks out.
