If you have a pet, then you understand the importance of keeping that pet safe, whether it's at home, in the yard, outside in the park, or on the street.
Dogs and cats sometimes slip away, and their desperate owners try everything to get them back home, and considering their relative size, it may not be easy to spot them.
But it would be pretty hard to miss a horse crossing your path, wouldn't it?
Luckily for Kaycee Kellems, four of her beloved show horses were returned to her in due time when they were seen running along the highway. Several drivers called 911 when they saw the four beautiful creatures slightly out of place.
Tina Brown was one of those callers. She remembers the moment she realized something was very wrong: she noticed that the horses did not have saddles on them.
Indeed, they had escaped from their enclosure when the smart creatures saw that part of the fence had collapsed.
Now, they are thankfully at home with a grateful owner, who vows that she will never let the horses scare her like that again. We can imagine how scary getting that phone call must have been for Kellems! The horses were unharmed, despite finding their way onto the busy highway.
