Charlie the shelter dog is one lucky pup. Although he was homeless, his transformation is almost miraculous! His story is just another amazing tale that makes us hold our pets at home even closer.
Charlie the shelter dog was found on the streets of Los Angeles, by the side the road. After he was rescued, he was taken to an area shelter. Unfortunately, this was a high-kill shelter: if Charlie couldn't be adopted, he would be euthanized, and dogs like him rarely survive more than a week. He was covered in dirt, mud, and burrs that were tangled up in his fur.
Luckily, pet grooming service Hollywood Grooming came to help Charlie. The frightened pup was given the makeover of a lifetime! A time-lapse video shows the great care and compassion put into helping poor Charlie look and feel his best. The groomer spends time making sure every bit of Charlie is clean, even giving him a nice bath. Halfway through the footage, you begin to notice how different he looks.
This miraculous makeover wasn't for nothing. Two days later, Charlie found his forever home!
