It's hard to understand how any dog in this country can be homeless. Unfortunately, thousands and thousands of these beautiful creatures are left to live alone in fear on the streets.
That's why it's so important to adopt these animals instead of purchasing them from pet stores or breeders. There are so many good dogs just waiting for a forever home, but often they never end up finding a place where they can truly belong.
While it's heartbreaking to know just how many of these animals are left to their own devices, depressed and alone, the video below shows a happier side to their homelessness: the moment they're finally found and taken in!
This gorgeous little puppy was scared, alone, and totally depressed, but when one man found her and saw just how friendly and sweet she was, he knew in his heart exactly what he had to do. While he loved her dearly, he couldn't keep any dogs himself. He made sure she got to a new good home thanks to the help of animal control and a lot of hard work!
The excitable pooch seems to know it as well. These two were destined to meet in such a desolate place! They say that animals can't feel emotions like happiness, but when you see her face, it becomes pretty obvious that she's smiling like crazy!
Thank goodness the man found her in time. While she'll need some training, this energetic beauty is going to finally begin to live the life she was meant to live: surrounded by love and respect!
