What would you do if you saw an animal in desperate need of help?
I am thankful enough to believe that most of us would jump into action to save an animal in need. Just like the folks who were able to wriggle this cat out of the sewer drain it got stuck in by using dish soap.
Some animals are very curious, especially when they see sewer drains and grates on the ground that smell a bit like food. They don't realize their curiosity puts them in danger.
One family was out and about the Flinders Ranges in southern Australia when they came across something stuck in a cattle grate. All they could see at first were two little feet and a tail poking out. Upon closer inspection, it was obvious that the animal that had gotten stuck was a kangaroo!
Dad approaches the stuck animal while one of his children videotapes and tells him to be careful. Smart suggestion, they don't want to scare the trapped kangaroo and have any injuries occur.
You can see in the video below how lucky this little kangaroo is that this family stumbled upon it. Hopefully, it has a much safer life moving forward!
