The Michigan Humane Society (MHS) received a phone call about a plastic container that was left sitting on the side of the road during the harsh winter cold. Inside the container? Five tiny puppies curled up together, left to freeze.
The puppies were about three blocks away from the shelter, but it's likely they were simply dumped there to die.
MHS is a wonderful organization. They're the same people who rescued the puppy and kitten who lived together behind a dumpster. So incredible.
When I saw these angels peeking out from the container, my heart nearly exploded. They are so adorable. When they arrived back at the MHS headquarters, they were in good spirits, but starving. After the team vaccinated the pups, they made sure to set them up in warm cages with food, water, and toys.
I'm happy to report that Snowcap had already been adopted by the time this video was posted. In addition, the other four puppies were placed in foster care while battling upper respiratory infections. As soon as they were medically cleared, they were ready for their forever homes.
