She Holds Out Her Hand With A Treat To A Ratty Street Dog…Watch How He Reacts

It's impossible to determine how many stray dogs live in the U.S., since every single day more are being born into homelessness, while others are simply abandoned by their owners.

From poverty to poor health, there are countless reasons why a person would give up a pet, but there is no denying that there is never, ever a good reason to leave a domesticated animal on the street for dead.

Luckily, for all the cruel animal abusers in the world, there are so many more "animal angels" who hit the streets every day to help find forever homes for pets like this sweet, scared dog who are in desperate need of some TLC.

Among these heroes are the people of the Kris Kelly Foundation, a nonprofit animal rescue team based in Los Angeles, who work hard to get innocent animals off death row and the mean city streets.

In the following video, we see a tiny bichon frise who was dumped in a neighborhood with a high crime rate. The dog had found his way into a family's backyard and they had been feeding him, but he needed a lot of help. It wasn't hard for the rescuers to get the dog, which they named "Lynwood," to come around. After a trip to the vet and a very long bath, he was ready to start his new life.
