Two Rescuers Pin Down Frantic Deer To Cut Rope Around His Antlers Before Releasing Him

Sometimes wild animals get themselves in trouble, and with no one around to help them, they stay trapped unless they catch a human's attention.

But not everyone is equipped with the right knowledge and tools to help frantic and possibly dangerous animals. Even if the creature is gentle, a wrong move can injure someone who gets too close.

Deer tend to get stuck in fences. There have been countless rescues of deer stuck in places where they can't free themselves, and many a Good Samaritan have come to their aid. But it takes a professional like Simon Cowell or anyone on his team to do it properly.

The Wildlife Aid rescuers received a call about a deer stuck in a rope fence, his antlers all tangled with the rope. They moved quickly to check out the situation.

In the rescue video, Cowell and one of his aids put on gloves so they can grab the young buck by the horns without getting hurt. While one holds him still, the other cuts the rope around him.

But the animal is too scared and frantic, at one point sending Cowell tumbling down to the ground. Despite this, he doesn't let go. Both rescuers manage to pin the animal down before making the final cuts and setting the deer free.

What an incredible rescue, with a happy ending no less! The Wildlife Aid team must be extremely proud of their work!
