Dog owners know how much joy and love adorable four-legged friends bring to their world every day, but it's not just their cute faces that can brighten up a room. The title "man's best friend" isn't just thrown around willy-nilly. Science has proven that our canine buddies truly do feel intense loyalty for their human friends.
That's what makes seeing them interact with our children even more heartwarming. Sometimes a dog can have trouble getting used to a new tiny human taking all the attention, but eventually they both come to an understanding. Other times, all it really takes is one look at each other to know they'll be best friends forever.
This sweet pup takes on the role of teacher with her little friend. While the baby seems content to play with her toy book, her mom asks the pooch to "check on the baby." The fluffball dutifully marches over to the kiddo and gives her a peck on the cheek. The precious trick is delightful on its own, but then the mom asks her pup if he can "go play on the xylophone."
At first I thought she was just kidding around, but the dog actually goes over to the toy instrument and plucks out a few notes! How amazing is that? Her daughter eventually notices how much fun the pup is having and decides to join in, taking her cues from the dog. I can see these cuties composing together for years to come.
