A soldier who just returned to the U.S. from Afghanistan to find out his dog had gone missing! Now he's on the hunt to find his beloved 4-year-old German shepherd, Zara.
Army Specialist Jon Walker returned home to Maryland to learn that his dog ran off into the woods near Crownsville while playing outside with the dog sitter on July 28. Zara was last seen wearing a pink collar and is microchipped.
Although Walker and his friends have made countless trips into the woods, Zara has not been found. As they race to help find the dog, his friends have also created a Facebook page to help spread the word. Walker isn't giving up hope that his dog is still alive and will return home.
