Despite whatever you think you know about corgis, prepare to have your mind blown. This pup isn't famous just for his good looks — he surfs, too.
"Jojo The Handsome Boy," by which he refers to himself on Instagram, is a self-described "surferdog, certified therapy dog, [and] Disney dog." Quite the pooch, I'd say! And while he wouldn't be the first dog we've ever seen on a surf board — let's not forget that compilation of beach dogs a while back that boasts one such clip — a short-legged corgi manning his own surf is certainly a sight to behold! As TIME pointed out last year, this dog has no shortage of video footage of himself riding the wicked waves.
Equipped with his fitted doggy life jacket, Jojo is guided toward the wave by his human companion (because the whole short legs thing poses some challenges for paddling). But as the wave moves in, he's on his own! He rides the tide with expert precision and seems to navigate well too! (It's probably safe to assume he sticks with the little ones.) And by the looks of it, this dog's not throwing his board to the wayside any time soon.
