This BRILLIANT Invention Could Save MILLIONS Of Blind, ‘Unwanted’ Dogs!

Basil was picked up from the side of the road by some concerned rescuers who saw that the homeless dog was walking funny and bumping into things. After he was taken to a shelter, workers realized that Basil was blind, and they think the reason he was on the street was because his owners didn't want to care for a dog with a disability.

In the hopes of finding Basil a new home, his foster owner, Helena Webster, got him "Muffins Halo," which is an invention by a woman named Silvie Bordeaux. Silvie invented the halo for her dog who went blind, and routinely donates it to shelters so other blind dogs can have a better chance at being adopted.

"[Basil] kept bruising his face and shoulders because he just couldn’t see what he was doing," Webster told news outlets. "Now he wears the halo, he’s a lot more confident. He can play outside just like other dogs which is great… We want dog owners … to know that this aid exists, because it could help so many more blind dogs.’"

Webster and the shelter that helped Basil, the West Yorkshire Dog Rescue, are ecstatic to say that Basil has been adopted, thanks to this incredible halo! Just think of all the animals who could be helped by this wonderful new invention!
