They say dogs are smart, but this video makes it seem like they're smart enough to understand subtle, repeated gestures!
As the guy in the video points out, his dogs get really excited whenever they hear his laptop close. First, it's crazy that they can even hear and decipher the sound of a laptop closing (but I shouldn't be surprised), but secondly, it's interesting to think what this sound must represent to them!
I wonder if they've put together that every time their owner closes his laptop, it means he's done looking at the screen and more likely to play with them, take them out for a walk or simply be more present with them? I know it sounds a little far-fetched, but watch this video a few times and tell me that couldn't be a possibility!
