A month-old piglet from Canada became one of the luckiest little piglets in the world after falling off of the back of a truck headed for the slaughterhouse.
Police found the baby pig near Brossard, Quebec, and called animal control soon after.
"The people who were following that trailer saw the piglet sneak through a hole and fall off the trailer," Sûreté du Québec spokeswoman, Joyce Kemp, told the CBC back in September 2013.
What happened next is truly a miracle, and you won't believe what the little piglet determined to live, named Yoda, is up to now!

With the help of some devoted animal lovers who learned of his story online, Yoda was given a ride to the Wishing Well animal sanctuary north of Toronto.
He had some scratches and minor injuries from the fall off of the truck, but they soon began healing nicely.
He was given a little piggie sweater to keep him warm.
"He just loves to crawl into people's laps and be held. He's a little angel," Brenda Bronfman, who first opened the sanctuary, told the CBC last year.
"He's just going to live the rest of his, god willing, long life," said Brenda, "And will be happy with the other pigs and all the attention. There is always somebody on the farm, and he will just be loved for the rest of his natural life."
Amazingly, another little piglet named Leia fell off of another slaughterhouse truck and was brought to the sanctuary not long after Yoda. The two became fast friends.
Leia, Yoda, and the other pigs who live at the sanctuary have transformed into a close family unit.
Wishing Well Sanctuary provides a caring, respectful environment for all of their rescued farm animals, and visitors regularly stop by to learn about them and interact with them closely.
Yoda's miraculous story is an ode to the power of human compassion and kindness towards animals.
