Eight children who were allegedly abducted from Arkansas were found in California with their biological mother, who had a felony warrant for her arrest. The Anderson Police Department received a report of a woman "displaying bizarre behavior" on Saturday, October 21, 2023.

The woman had six children with her. The police responded to the welfare check request and found the woman and the children in a parking lot, according to a news release from the police department.

After identifying the woman and checking her records, the police determined that the woman — Trista Fullerton, 36, had a felony warrant for her arrest since she allegedly abducted eight children. According to the news release, the police discovered that Fullerton is the biological mom of all of the children but does not have custody of them.

The children were all reportedly abducted from their foster homes. Only six of them were in the car with the woman, but the other two children were found safe at a home in Shasta County, California. The woman was arrested and the children were released to Shasta County Children and Family Services, which would help bring them back to their legal guardians in Arkansas.
