Woman Gets Message From Stranger About 11 Dogs, Then She Realizes They’re About To Die

Animal lovers, especially dog owners, know just how sweet and gentle pit bulls can be. Unfortunately, many people believe that they are naturally aggressive and often use them in illegal dog-fighting rings. The poor pups are hurt by these enterprises, but luckily there are rescuers out there who make it their life's mission to save these animals from a lifetime of abuse.

Regina Quinn and her fellow rescuers with the Blue Angels Advocacy and Rescue Resource felt terrible that they couldn't do more to save 21 poor dogs from being killed in Hampton, Virginia. They even set up a vigil in their honor.

So when she received a message from a total stranger about 11 more dogs who were in a shelter, at risk of being euthanized, she knew she had to act quickly. The dogs were all sick and hurt in some way, most with scars from the ordeal they had been through. They had been in the shelter for seven months, but the organization couldn't care for them any longer.

Blue Angels Advocacy and Rescue Resource managed to get hold of all 11 dogs.

The pit bulls were scheduled to be euthanized at 12 p.m. The rescuers arrived at 11:30 the same day.

Now, the animals are slowly healing. Hopefully, in time, they will be able to find good and loving homes!
