It's every parent's worst nightmare to not be able to help their child in times of need. While just being there is really all kids want, a parent feels a responsibility to fix any and all problems that may arise throughout their child's life.
When it comes to having a sick child, there's really nothing that makes a parent feel more helpless. And when the doctors aren't sure what to do, either? That can be unbearable.
And while it can be difficult to smile through the tough days, there are always ways of lifting a kid's spirits, like this little boy who got his wish of becoming "Batkid" for a day. It's amazing to seem him living life so fully, with such a big smile on his face.
But that's just the way kids are. Superheroes are a sure way to make them feel like they've been taken out of their own troubles for a little bit and just have a good time.
When 9-year-old Morgan Franklin was diagnosed with a rare disease called Linear Morphea, it didn't hold her back. Instead, it inspired Franklin to create.
As a way of helping her parents pay for her treatments, Franklin began painting and selling rocks to her mom's Facebook friends.
She truly is an inspiring little girl!
