My first reaction when I saw this video was, "Where was Mom when he decided to do this?!"
Even though we usually have that reaction when we see dads doing something a little risky with their kids, most of the time, Mom is right along with them! I guess it's one of those old stereotypes that dads aren't always as careful as moms when it comes to their delicate babies. And you know what? Sometimes that's a good thing! Growing up, my mom was such a worrier, but my dad, well, he would let us run around outside without shoes for hours! While one way of parenting isn't necessarily better than the other, I think having a bit of yin and yang in the household makes for a good balance!
Whether they're having dance parties or playing instruments together, dads certainly know how to have a good time with their kids, and this dad is no different. Somehow, he's discovered his baby has fantastic balancing skills, and wants to take those skills to the next level! The best part about this video is that his little one doesn't seem afraid at all — in fact, he seems to love it!
Even though it was a tad scary to watch, it looks like Dad always has his son's safety in mind.
