A new commercial is flipping the switch on the anti-bullying movement in an effort to open more eyes to the serious community need to stop the hate.
Most anti-bullying campaigns will depict a scenario where a young kid is being bullied by a peer in school, on the playground, or his neighborhood; but in this Not In Our School commercial, the typical bullying scene is set in the most unlikely of places: an office breakroom.
Watching a grown man completely dehumanize his coworker is horrifying but watching the people in the background sit idly by breaks your heart. With the powerful message that bullying is unacceptable for an adult, then it's unacceptable for a child, it's guaranteed to make you want to create change. In the end, it turns out these scene was based on an actual exchange that happened to a middle school student, in real life.
