When a little girl is born with a disability, it can be devastating to the parents.
They know that their child will grow up with even more struggles than every ordinary child does.
They'll have the battles through school, friendship, and love, plus whatever they have physically or mentally delaying their lifestyle.
But, not everyone looks at it as all negatives. Some don't even acknowledge them at all.
One of those little girls is Averie Mitchell, and although her mother Kim knows that people sometimes stare, the two of them and their trusted pup prove strength and perseverance outweigh all of the things holding them back.
Averie's spirit is so apparent in this video, and there will be nothing holding her back now that she has her new prosthetic.
Plus, her best friend Hattie is about to get a new doggy prosthetic.
Kim says that Hattie helps Averie feel confident and have constant a sense of companionship. Although they bond over their disability, they certainly don't act like they have one.
Every child deserves to have a buddy like Hattie, and every child deserves to know that their differences shouldn't bring them down, and definitely don't make them any less valuable to the world. I'm so happy for this dynamic duo, and their new legs too!
