Nothing is worse than seeing a sick child suffer… and on the flip side, nothing is better than seeing a child smile. This video shows both in less than one minute and it's absolutely priceless.
Avery Harriman is only 7 years old, but this brave little hero has already battled Leukemia a mind-blowing three times. Avery is the son of Nebraska Huskers assistant basketball coach, Chris Harriman, who has been living this nightmare with his son for the past five years.
In this precious clip, Avery receives some very exciting news – the boy gets to go home and stop his chemotherapy. Unfortunately, Avery won't be home for long, as his sickness is a long, ongoing battle, but he will never stop fighting. Seeing Avery so happy for only a few seconds, however, is enough to touch your heart and put a big smile on your face.
