The relationship between a father and his daughter is one of immeasurable strength. Each of us has heard the “Daddy’s little girl” saying, but the below video proves that the bond between a dad and his daughter is unbreakable — even, it proves, when he’s unrecognizable.
We’ve seen something similar to this before. In a recent ad spot for Pandora jewelry, we watched children with blindfolds find their mothers in a lineup. Instead of locating their moms by way of their sight, they relied on things like the texture of their hair, the smell of their perfume, and the shape of their face. It’s an emotional video that illustrates the ways children perceive their mothers. The same applies to the video below.
In the video, we see a man snuggling with his baby girl, the happy toddler playing peek-a-boo with dad. But then? Dad shaves his long, scraggly beard – presumably one he’s had since his little one was old enough to notice those things. And when his baby girl plays peek-a-boo again, she’s surprised to find that the face underneath is different than she’d remembered! “Who is this guy,” her face says. It takes her a second to realize who she’s looking at, but the ending makes the whole thing worth a watch…
