Like many little kids, I spent a lot of my time living in fear of the always lurking "tickle monster" — also known as my silly dad. It wasn't a real fear, of course, just having the knowledge that he could transform into the giggle-producing character at any moment. An ordinary family dinner could suddenly become a fit of laughter, often without even having to get near me. I could be sent into hysterics by a simple gesture from across the table!
That's one of the many perks of becoming a parents: endless entertainment. Whether your kiddo is trying surprising new things or showing off their hidden talents, every day is a new adventure with them around. The sound of their laughter is so infectious, you feel like you'll never hear it enough! Sure, you might look a tad silly to the outside observer, but all that matters is the smile on their sweet face. I don't have any kids of my own, but I have been known to pull some of my best material out over video calls just to see my nephew crack his precious grin.
The dad in the video below, however, seems to have a pretty tough audience when it comes to his baby girl. After he attempts to amuse her with funny noises and gags, he shifts the camera to show us just how she feels about the performance. It's like watching someone audition for a talent show and seeing a mini Simon Cowell shut them down!
