Using 6 more strips of bacon, create a square bacon weave.

Once the weave is complete, place the tray in the oven for 15 minutes.

Then, remove the tray, but you're not done yet!

If you're like me, you'll want to save the bacon grease to use for cooking later on!

Place the bacon weave on a plate and trim the edges to make it into a circle.

If the bacon is too greasy for you, use a paper towel to dab off some of the extra grease.

Now, the circular weave needs to be cooked into a taco shell shape. You have two options. You can fold the weave directly on the oven grill so that it hangs downward in a taco shell shape.

Or if your oven won't allow it, you can hang the weave over chopsticks balancing on mugs in the microwave. Whether using the oven or microwave, cook the bacon for 15 more minutes, or until it appears extra crispy.

The result should be a crispy bacon taco shell that is just begging to be filled with your favorite taco ingredients.
