This is the last thing you'd ever want to discover in your brand new home. Oh. My. Goodness!
A Florida man named William Wilson won a foreclosed house at auction. It was a cute ranch in Cape Coral, FL, which he'd procured for just $96,000.
But when Wilson arrived at his brand new abode for the very first time, he got a much different visual than he'd expected. For starters, the grounds needed major upkeep and the inside of the house was a complete mess. It looked as though someone was in the process of packing and/or moving, and there were pictures of kids up on the fridge.
Then William found a body on the floor.
That's right — on the floor of Wilson's new master bedroom lay the body of a human, though he couldn't tell if it was male or female.
It did not take long for him to find the decomposing body was presumed to be that of an elderly woman missing for three years. No one ever took the time to check inside her home.
One neighbor who was interviewed by a news station said he often parked his van in the empty driveway before Wilson bought the ranch. He said, "Either it was a grow house or there was a dead lady in there."
But no one came to check. No one ever said anything.
