There are few kids I meet nowadays who say that they haven't been teased for something or another. Maybe it's how they look, what they're wearing, or even their family's background. Somehow, kids these days find ways to pick on others for anything and everything, and it's up to parents to explain to them that everyone comes in different shapes and sizes, and from different backgrounds.
One 10-year-old can't stress this enough. Nyeeam Hudson experienced what many of us would consider to be a heartbreaking experience, but one the wise child is using to teach his bullies and strangers alike of the what really matters.
Nyeeam's clip has already been viewed by thousands, but he's teaching kids and adults alike an important lesson. And who knew that a child his age could be so wise?
In it, he explains the situation: other kids mocked him for his shoes, because they weren't trendy and cool like theirs.
The boy's response?
"So I told the kid, it's not about what I have on my feet, it's about what I have inside my head. No matter what I'm wearing, no matter what I have on, it's about my information, the knowledgeable things in life."
Can you think of words that are more true? I can't!
