Recently, however, I have witnessed something simply incredible — and a little disturbing — on the internet. Having amassed more than 500,000 views, photos of the pizzas at Brazilian restaurant Pizzaria Bate Papo are truly puzzling.
With options like "sun-dried tomatoes and jellybeans covered with olives and cheese," menu choices here follow an adventurous "go big or go home" standard.

We’ve all seen how chefs, amateur home cooks, and restaurants all over the world like to experiment with exotic, new pizza toppings.
One restaurant in Brazil, however, is taking this business rather seriously, coming up with a shocking host of outlandish toppings — some of which are actually inedible.
Reddit user 'sgtgreamer' compiled an album featuring these unbelievably strange pizzas made at Pizzaria Bate Papo, and posted it on the internet for all to see. We’ll start off with the topping that has proved to be the most puzzling: an upright vehicle tire.
Next, this pizza features the classic French dessert crème caramel, a type of custard with a layer of soft caramel on top.
They’ve also included a whole roasted chicken as a topping choice, on top of an ordinary margherita pizza.
Naturally, they had to include a range of sweet toppings, too. Chocolate muffins seemed to be in order...
As well as festive-colored, candy-coated chocolates and chocolate sprinkles. Many commenters have expressed both their delight and disgust at the restaurant’s perplexing creations.
'I’m not saying it isn’t good, but Brazil clearly doesn’t understand some fundamental concepts of pizza,' complains one commenter, user 'Tralchemist.'
'I question how you could eat these without getting stomach pain later,' remarked 'drbluee,' another user.
However unnatural these pizza toppings may seem, we do feel like giving the pizzeria a thumbs-up for effort and creativity!
