Staying in a normal hotel is SO 20th century.
Instead of settling for small rooms that all look the same, today's travelers are in the market for a unique experience they'll treasure forever, like this cargo truck that was transformed into a tiny New Zealand beach house!
With lots of options from accommodation-sharing services like Airbnb, why settle for a stuffy hotel room with one window and a tiny TV when you could be somewhere much more adventurous?
The BubbleTree Tent is a fully transparent, inflatable pod that lets you turn just about any spot into a comfy place to spend the night.
Invented by French designer Pierre Stéphane Dumas, the domed tents are just the perfect size for two people to enjoy a night out under the stars — although they'll still be safe inside the waterproof bubble.

One of the easiest ways to gain a new appreciation for the natural environment is to spend time in it.
Unfortunately, building hotels and the infrastructure needed to support them often destroys the very ecosystems with which we're trying to reconnect.
That's why Pierre Stéphane Dumas came up with the idea for a portable pod-like room that would allow guests to experience the sensation of spending a night in the great outdoors while having minimal negative impact.
There are several different styles of BubbleTree tents, but all of them look like a cross between a goldfish bowl and an igloo.
Some, like the CristalBubble, are completely transparent, giving a 360-degree view of the surrounding countryside.
Others, like the BubbleRoom, offer a completely transparent ceiling but also feature an opaque wall so that occupants can experience at least partial privacy.
“Having a night under the stars or seeing the sun rise and set is not something that many people experience anymore,” Mr. Dumas explained to Daily Mail.
“A normal tent or camper van means people miss out on these things.
“So I designed this eccentric shelter with the aim of offering an unusual experience under the stars while keeping all the comfort of a bedroom suite.”
You might think that such an exposed tent might feel stark inside, but it's actually much more luxurious than traditional camping.
There's plenty of room for a bed, a rug, a nightstand or a table, and perhaps a few reading chairs.
Some of the BubbleTree pods even have a second attached room that can be used as a bathroom or children's room.
The inflated Bubbles keep their shape with the help of an airlock at the entrance and a silent pump, which keeps a constant pressure on the walls.
Outside sound is kept to a minimum while inside noise is magnified, which, according to Mr. Dumas, encourages the occupants to create a peaceful atmosphere by whispering.
Unlike many of the tiny houses we feature, a BubbleTree tent can be purchased on Amazon for about $1,000!
