Growing up is always such an adventure. But sometimes, letting go of things you've grown comfortable with isn't easy.
I know that I drank from a bottle until I was just a little bit too old. I know I'm not the only one! Others hold onto their safety blankets, while some remain inseparable from their childhood stuffed animal well into their 20s, 30s, and beyond.
It's OK to hold onto some parts of childhood for a while. In fact, it's quite all right to hold onto certain things for your entire life! However, there are some things that must go.
When this little girl went to the park today, she didn't know that she'd be saying farewell to a quintessential early childhood symbol and item of comfort. But, this day turned out to be a big milestone for her!
Mom wanted this moment to be as celebratory and memorable as possible for her little girl. She wanted her baby to feel that she was doing a wonderful thing by taking this step to becoming a big girl.
To be honest, I wasn't sure if this was going to go over very well when I first started watching. Sending such a precious item up to the heavens would really upset some babies.
But this little girl? Her reaction is too cute. She knows that this is a big moment, and you can see that she's so proud of herself for taking this step!
